Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to welcome you to the Summer School on Chemical Dynamics at Surfaces and in the Gas-phase, which will take place Sept 21-26, 2026 in Deqing, Zhejiang Province, China. The Summer School will be chaired by Prof. Alec Wodtke from Max Planck Society, Prof. Xueming Yang and Prof. Weiqing Zhang both from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. 
Development of new and advanced light sources has become more and more important in the scientific research. The development of new advanced light sources has pushed experimental studies from macroscopic world into the atomic and molecular levels, from studies of physical systems at static condition to ultrafast dynamics processes. Chemical Dynamics at Surfaces and in the Gas-phase based on advanced light sources is an important direction for human exploration of cutting-edge science. During the Summer School, we will explore future scientific issues in chemical dynamics, and visit some of China’s new international research institutes and facilities. We hope the Summer School will promote international scientific exchange and cooperation, and open up new avenues for research collaborations at both regional and global levels.
